Job title: Legal Counsel II (PST REMOTE) Company: Aston Carter Job description: A LEADING ECOMMERCE COMPANY, BASED OUT OF SEATTLE, IS SEEKING A QUALIFIED LEGAL COUNSEL II! THIS POSITION IS 100% REMOTE. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Prepares and examines contracts involving leases, licenses, purchases, sales, insurance, etc. • Provides legal advice to an organization, prepares resolutions and forms, and participates in major legal actions. • Responsible for foreseeing and protecting the company against legal risks. • Must be a graduate of an accredited law school with 5-8 years of experience and admitted into the state bar. • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. • May lead and direct the work of others. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: • Strong written and oral communication skills are a must, as is the desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job. • Must be a graduate of an accredited law school with 3-5 years of experience and admitted into the state bar. • What KPIs will you and the candidate use to measure success? • Ability to understand and complete work. If questions arise must ask questions. • Strong Outlook and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, etc.) • Ability to read contracts!
