In this role, you will provide exceptional service by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims, with a focus on water losses. Responsibilities Virtually inspecting damages Investigating coverage Preparing estimates Settling claims promptly and accurately Interacting with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration Using phone, emails and sometimes even video chat with customers Evaluating and negotiating claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants Utilizing multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment Executing policies along policy agreements Ensuring timely and accurate documentation is completed Skills Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor.
