Senior Business Analyst

McLaren Strategic Solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in financial services to support the design, enhancement, and delivery of business solutions across key operational areas. This role is central to aligning business strategy with functional execution, ensuring stakeholder needs are clearly defined, prioritized, and met through continuous process improvement and effective system integration. Responsibilities Partner closely with finance, operations, and senior leadership to assess business needs, define priorities, and recommend practical, high-impact solutions. Drive initiatives related to financial processes, including general ledger, reconciliations, expense tracking, and performance reporting. Act as the bridge between business teams and technology, ensuring clear communication, documented requirements, and successful project outcomes. Lead the development and execution of test plans and user validation processes for system enhancements, upgrades, and business continuity efforts. Strengthen collaboration across teams by promoting transparency, accountability, and a shared understanding of goals and expectations. Required Experience 10 years of experience in financial services, with a preference for extensive experience across areas such as investment operations, accounting, or portfolio management. Proven ability to analyze and improve financial processes, including reconciliations, cash management, and expense workflows. Strong understanding of financial products and reporting standards, including alternative investments (private/public credit or debt). Experience working cross-functionally with finance, operations, and compliance in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
