Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Boston, working remotely. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary of $25/hour. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that supports our business operations, including servers, storage, and network systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. Analyze business, application, and technical requirements to identify infrastructure needs. Develop and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements. Manage and oversee the work of junior engineers and vendors. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Develop and maintain technical documentation. Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical systems. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on server, storage, and network systems. Experience with design and implementation of infrastructure solutions, including cloud-based technologies. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with American Express or similar financial services industry. Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure. Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker. Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible or Puppet. Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Splunk or ELK.
