Responsibilities
Ā Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Ā Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
Ā Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
Ā Support clients with medication management as per care plans.
Ā Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
Ā Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, adjusting as necessary based on client needs.
Ā Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Ā Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Ā Document daily activities, changes in condition, and any concerns to communicate with family members or healthcare providers.
Requirements
Ā Previous experience in patient care or home community care is preferred.
Ā Knowledge of dementia care and memory care techniques is a plus.
Ā Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial.
Ā Ability to lift clients safely and assist them with mobility.
Ā Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ā Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
Ā Ability to follow care plans accurately and adapt to changing client needs.
Ā Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
