**Job Summary**
We're seeking an entry-level Python Data Warehousing Specialist to join our growing development team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you'll be responsible for maintaining rules written in Python that map business data to our production database using an in-house data warehousing tool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some programming experience and excellent communication skills to gain experience with software development and data warehousing.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Maintain rules written in Python that map business data to our production database using an in-house data warehousing tool
* Work with the database to ensure data accuracy and integrity
* Archive raw data and push/pull data from data stores
* Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve data-related issues
* Develop and implement data warehousing solutions to improve data analysis and reporting capabilities
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data warehousing and software development
**Requirements**
* 1 year of experience in software development, preferably with Python
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Familiarity with Excel
* Familiarity with FTP/SFTP
* Familiarity with Amazon S3
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
**Nice to Have**
* Web scraping experience
* Experience with Django or Flask
* Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery
