Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Identity Access Management Engineer with Higher Ed experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting identity and access management (IAM) solutions for our clients. You must have experience working in a higher education environment with a strong technical background in IAM and be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Job Overview At Provision IAM, we work with a variety of technologies and frameworks. As an Identity Access Management Engineer, you will be working with our Developers and DevOps Engineers to integrate various systems with Identity and Access Management solutions for the purpose of user account provisioning and access control. Responsibilities * Facilitate and Guide Customers through Provision Implementation process via Onboarding Platform Including Resource Preview facilitation * Collect Provision configuration information that is not included in OP to date. For example: Activation mappings Custom field mappings Protected accounts * Deliver Provision Management Platform (midPoint) Implementations Requires low to mid level expertise of midPoint or similar software Implement customized configuration via the OP Ensure/Facilitate configuration of Provision Management Platform instance * Provide Provision Customer ongoing support Training Provide Provision IAM expertise, best practices Answering questions on Provision Software usage Troubleshooting issues/concerns in Provision Management Platform and Connectors Document Provision Onboarding Platform bugs and submit to product team * Provision Product Enhancement Provide boots-on-the-ground Provision feedback Identify recurring client needs currently lacking support in Provision for consideration and prioritization Implement Provision Management Platform Standard Configuration Enhancements Skills & Requirements: Higher Education experience with Identity Access management is a must! Strong Proficiency in XML Ability to read and write in one of the following common programming languages Java, Groovy, JavaScript, C#, etc. SQL Experience with relational databases SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, etc. Understanding of Windows Active Directory or LDAP Strong grasp of Access control techniques such as Role-Based Access Control, User Provisioning, Onboarding and SSO * Familiarity with Linux, Mac OS and Windows Scripting in Windows/Linux environment Bash/Powershell It would be great if you have some of these: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Java Development Windows/Linux Systems Administration Experience Experience with deploying Java applications or experience with Apache Tomcat Knowledge of banking regulatory environments and risk management practices Familiarity with auditing and compliance methods in an enterprise environment Interest in DevOps, including tooling and automation Experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID or other SSO Experience with midPoint or similar Identity Access Management application Java Spring Framework, Spring boot, maven and or Groovy experience Open-source contributions Experience working as part of an Agile Team Other Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 annually.
