**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Care Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- **Resolving Incoming Customer Inquiries**: Respond to customer calls, emails, and chats regarding power outages, billing questions, and service requests. Utilize your problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
- **Utilizing Policies and Procedures**: Place service and emergency orders for customers, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and processed accurately.
- **Assisting with Payment Arrangements**: Help customers with payment arrangements and other service-related inquiries, providing solutions that meet their needs.
- **Performing Research and Follow-up**: Conduct research and follow up on customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and resolve any outstanding issues.

**Requirements**
To be successful as a Customer Care Specialist, you'll need:
- **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
- **Customer Service Experience**: A minimum of two years of non-sales customer service experience or two years of non-sales call center experience is necessary.
- **Basic Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook**: Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and other productivity software is essential.
- **Effective Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills**: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required to handle escalated customer situations.
- **Strong Communication and Analytical Skills**: Excellent communication and analytical skills are necessary to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- **Proficient Use of Computers and Basic Math Calculations**: Proficient use of computers and basic math calculations are required for this role.
- **Ability to Type 30 WPM**: A minimum typing speed of 30 WPM is necessary for this position.
- **Flexibility to Work Shifts**: Flexibility to work shifts within operating hours of 7am-9pm M-F and 8am-7pm Saturday is required.
