Key Responsibilities

Ā Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
Ā Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Ā Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
Ā Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and regulatory compliance.
Ā Support budget preparation and financial forecasting initiatives.
Ā Monitor financial performance, providing insights into trends and variances.
Ā Collaborate with external auditors during audit processes.
Ā Establish and uphold internal controls to protect company assets.
Ā Assist in tax return preparations and necessary regulatory filings.
Ā Contribute to financial analysis and special projects as required.
Required Skills
Ā Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel capabilities.
Ā Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ā Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ā Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ā Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Ā A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Ā A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably within the construction services industry.
Ā Experience in owner financial reporting is advantageous.
