Remote Recruiting Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiting Assistant to join our team remotely. In this role, you will support our recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about talent acquisition and looking to develop their HR career in a flexible, remote environment. This position is a part time position and will start from 1 to 5/10 hours per week with the potential of becoming a full time position (if you wish).
MUST WORK DAYS
Key Responsibilities
• Support the hiring team with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding activities
• Review applications and screen candidates to assess qualifications and fit
• Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics between candidates and hiring managers
• Draft and post job descriptions, and maintain organized candidate databases
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates and answering questions
• Conduct interviews
• Assist with background checks, reference checks, and onboarding paperwork
• Maintain accuracy in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure all candidate information is up to date
• Prepare offer and rejection letters and assist with onboarding activities for new hires
Qualifications
• 3+ year of experience as a recruiting assistant, HR coordinator, or in a similar administrative role (remote experience preferred)
• Experience in interviewing candidates
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency with email, calendars, and basic HR software/ATS tools
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently in a remote setting14
Working Hours & Compensation
• Fully remote position
• Flexible schedule, with availability during standard business hours preferred
• Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
