Description: Are you an HR Generalist? Do you want work/life balance? Is occasional work ok with you? Do you prefer to focus on results and not time? If so we are looking for an: HR Consultant (part-time) We are Focus HR, we provide project and outsourced HR services to small businesses around the Chicagoland area. Our clients are in various industries and have different needs. We are growing and need another consultant to work with clients. Client work is done mostly remote and for one particular client - on site twice a week to start then once a week for 4 hours each visit. Learn more about us at Your responsibilities will vary according to the client. As a Consultant, who is also a generalist, the HR support you provide can be in form of compliance, new hire on-boarding, assisting with salaries and benefits, employee relations, performance reviews, policies & procedures, discipline to termination and strategy. You decide when you can do the work as long as client expectations are met. This position is ideal for you, if you: • Looking to make an impact in a small business • Take initiative and willing do to the work yourself • Learn and adapt quickly • Have at least 10 years of HR generalist experience • Excellent verbal & written communication skills • Very organized • Proficient in MS Office • Have a sense of humor Ready to get started?
