The DCX Client Services Home-Based Property Accountant is a dynamic and detail-oriented accounting role thatis responsible forsupporting day-to-day accounting operations. REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to meet strict deadlines Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Effective communication skills with a problem-solving attitude Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedure WHAT YOU WILL DO Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records. Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) efficiently. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external use. Handle investor reporting, providing detailed and clear financial information. Utilize AppFolio for various property accounting tasks and data management. Work collaboratively with the in-house CPA team to ensure high-quality accounting services. Report to staff, managers, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices. Assist in other property accounting duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field. Experience: Proven experience as a Property Accountant. Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours. Technical Skills: Proficiency with using AppFolio is strongly recommended. Industry Specific Software/Knowledge: Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
