What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
The Sr Health Data Analyst will support DX Health Services and be responsible for summarizing and analyzing data from multiple health systems. This position is a senior level data position and will be responsible for gathering and presenting trends and insights for Health Services leadership. This role will be on-site with some remote opportunity.
• Analyze data from various sources using statistical models.
• Perform the collection and analysis of data, by using observations, interviews, and surveys.
• Produce visuals to effectively communicate study findings to business leaders.
• Complete system audits/reporting.
• Create reporting and financial models.
• Contribute to the planning of detailed studies of population health issues to discover ways to prevent them and evaluate effectiveness of interventions.
• Provide contribution to health programs by participating in program planning, monitoring program progress, and doing data analysis.
• Develop and test hypotheses about cast member populations as they relate to health
• Provide useful data and consultation to internal and external parties.
• Establish positive relationships with other cast members and stakeholders.
• Ensure continuous improvement on all facets projects through innovation, and meeting timelines and benchmarks.
• Provide support for technology and systems for Cast Health Services
• Adept with MS Access, Excel, and other data management software, including ability to build and maintain custom database solutions to support ongoing analysis and reporting
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and project management software
• Support strategic initiatives for health.

You Will Have (Basic Qualifications):
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience with systems and tools including MySQL, MS Office (with a focus on Excel and Access), and other analytical and visualization tools (e. g. Tableau, EpiInfo).
• Foundational skills in math and statistics.
• Interpersonal and communication (speaking and writing) skills.
• Ability to partner with multiple business areas.
• Ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of applicable experience in population and health care analytics.

Required Education
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education
• Master’s Degree

The hiring range for this position in California is $94,200.00-$126,200.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
