Position Overview:
• Location: Bakersfield, CA (Onsite)
• Grade Levels: K-12
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Start Date: ASAP
• Caseload: Details will be discussed during the interview
• Contract Duration: Remainder of the school year, with potential extension for summer and the 2024-2025 school year
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct medical care and first aid to students and staff
• Administer medications and monitor chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and administrators to promote student wellness
• Educate students on preventative healthcare and healthy habits
Required Qualifications:
• Active California RN License (Required)
• Experience in pediatrics or a school setting is a plus
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment
