Precision AQ is a leading HEOR consultancy at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge technologies into health economic modeling. We specialize in developing innovative, evidence-based models that inform healthcare decision-making across global markets.Internship OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and analytically minded university student to explore the application of Generative AI (GAI) in the design and development of health economic models. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants and data scientists to:
Leverage GAI tools (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) to design model structures based on constraints from published literature.
Replicate and adapt prior models developed by leading HEOR consultancies using AI-assisted workflows.
Develop Python-based microsimulation or Markov models with AI support.
Critically evaluate the role of LLMs in improving transparency, reproducibility, and speed in model development.
Present findings to internal teams and potentially contribute to a white paper or conference abstract.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Health Economics, Medical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Epidemiology, or Data Science.
Strong interest in AI applications in healthcare.
Experience with Python, R, or other modeling languages.
Familiarity with economic evaluation methods (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact).
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
