Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Healthcare Financial Analyst to support our financial operations in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial analysis, contracts, procurement, compliance, and project management within a healthcare setting. This role requires proficiency in Excel and the ability to apply analytical skills to assess and improve financial performance, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Job Description
• Analyze financial data, prepare forecasts, and assist in budgeting processes. Prepare regular financial reports and provide insights into financial performance.
• Assist with contract analysis, cost assessments, and procurement planning. Work closely with the procurement team to analyze vendor contracts and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.
• Ensure financial operations adhere to relevant healthcare regulations, including compliance with billing standards, insurance, and other healthcare-related laws.
• Manage or assist in the financial aspects of healthcare projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial aspects of healthcare projects are on track.
• Utilize Excel for financial modeling, creating reports, and analyzing large datasets. Create and maintain financial spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Identify inefficiencies in financial operations and recommend solutions to streamline processes and improve overall financial performance.

Skills Required
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Strong Excel skills (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis, etc.).
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and financial practices.
• Experience with procurement and contract management processes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare-specific financial systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, etc.).

Education/Training/Certifications
• B achelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field required.

Additional requirements
• Shift Time: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay Rate
• $65.00 per hour
