Early Childhood Education Specialist - Temporary Position (Salt Lake City, UT)
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team as a temporary part-time assessor. In this role, you will conduct one-on-one math assessments with kindergarteners in elementary schools in the greater Salt Lake City, Utah area. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one mathematics assessments with kindergarteners on site at elementary schools in your region.
Review assessment materials each day for completeness and errors.
Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to District Coordinator who will supervise daily assessment progress.
Independently troubleshoot at elementary schools to ensure a successful assessment environment for all children.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, human development, early childhood education, or any field that provides the relevant experience to perform the responsibilities outlined above.
Flexibility to work, on average, between 20-25 hours per week during the assessment period.
Availability for training and certification on the measures in September 2024.
Fluency in English and intermediate proficiency in Spanish to administer the assessments bilingually is preferred.
Located in the greater Salt Lake City, Utah, area.
Prior experience working with elementary school children required.
Valid driver's license, insurance, and access to a personal vehicle for transportation to the school sites.
Proof of negative TB test will be required upon hire.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
