Growth Analytics Engineer
About the role
Growth Analytics Engineer role will report directly to our Head of Growth Analytics, Alex Levin. This is a role that works closely with our team across multiple clients we service -- giving this individual a broad experience of how growth analytics stacks are built across multiple fast-growing businesses.
We are looking for a competent and versatile engineer with experience in helping growth and performance marketing teams that will assist our team in one or more of the following areas:
The level of engagement will range from hourly part-time to full-time, depending on the experience and the number of areas the potential candidate could cover.
Our ideal candidate is a full-stack growth analytics engineer that would cover all of them. Our field is interdisciplinary and we prefer generalists - no need to be a ninja in each area, just have some proven experience, be versatile and don't be afraid to go into the woods occasionally.

Growth Analytics Engineer role will report directly to our Head of Growth Analytics, Alex Levin. We are looking for a competent and versatile engineer with experience in helping growth and performance marketing teams that will assist our team in one or more of the following areas:
- Advertising tracking specification, implementation, and QA. You have:
- Working knowledge of CDPs (primarily Segment or RudderStack), Google Tag Manager and in-platform Event Managers (Meta, Google, etc.)
- Confidence with Javascript (beyond a beginner)
- Knowledge of browser inspection tools (e.g. Network, Console, etc.)
- Ability to accurately follow specs and create them for client-side engineers in a clear and concise manner (we love Notion!)
- Growth data ETL and reporting. You are:
- No stranger to customized raw SQL data transformations
- Passionate for ETL configuration and SQL templating
- Familiar with data visualization tools like Chart.js
- Experienced with Python
- Internal application and workflow development on a low-code platform. You will
- Produce data visualizations, AI tools, and customized reports tailored to our team's needs to improve our efficiency and performance for clients.
- Write connected modules in Python, Javascript and SQL (and avoid using boring infrastructure and middleware!)
- Quickly prototype without clear specs - improvisation and communication is the key!
