General Nurse (RN) Role Summary:
As RN, you will plan and provide nursing care for residents requiring long-term and rehabilitative support.
Core RN Responsibilities:
? Follow nursing standards set by the Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
? Assess, plan, and evaluate care for residents in long-term and rehabilitation settings
? Execute patient care plans and assess patient responses
? Oversee other nursing staff and provide guidance
? Contribute to the creation and review of care standards
? Keep up-to-date on documentation and equipment needs
? Protect patient confidentiality and respect patient rights
? Educate patients, families, and caregivers as needed
? Maintain professionalism and follow facility protocols
? Work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications:
? Nursing degree and active RN license
? One year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting (critical care experience is a plus)
? Reliable transportation
