General Manager, Revenue Management
Role Overview
We are seeking a General Manager, Revenue Management, who will be responsible for building, scaling, and leading a high-performing consulting and delivery business focused on revenue management solutions within the Medispend platform. This role combines strategic leadership, client engagement, product expertise, and operational excellence to drive revenue growth, client satisfaction, and market differentiation.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in revenue cycle management and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced SaaS or consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Leadership & Strategy
Define and execute the strategic vision for the Medispends Revenue Management business
Build and scale service offerings aligned with market demand and client needs
Establish best practices, methodologies, and delivery frameworks
Client Engagement & Delivery
Serve as executive sponsor for key client engagements
Lead complex implementations and optimization initiatives related to revenue management
Ensure high-quality delivery, on-time execution, and measurable client outcomes
Act as a trusted advisor to c-level executives (CFOs, Revenue Cycle Leaders, Compliance Officers)
Business Development
Partner with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies
Support pre-sales activities including solution design, proposals, and client presentations
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
Represent the business in industry events, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of consultants and subject matter experts
Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and client-focused culture
Establish training programs and career development pathways
Drive accountability for performance metrics and client satisfaction
Product & Innovation
Collaborate with product teams to influence roadmap based on client needs
Stay current with regulatory changes, reimbursement models, and industry trends
Drive innovation in analytics, automation, and revenue optimization strategies
Qualifications
Required
10+ years of experience in life sciences revenue cycle management or related consulting
7+ years in a leadership role managing teams and client engagements
Strong knowledge of revenue management processes (e.g., contract modeling, reimbursement analysis, payer strategy)
Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience in SaaS, pharmaceutical industry, or consulting firms
Familiarity with value-based care models and payer-provider contracting
MBA, MHA, or relevant advanced degree
