General Accountant | Saudi Company

As a General Accountant you will be managing day-to-day accounting operations. This role is essential in ensuring the financial health of the business through accurate record-keeping, timely payments, and compliance with Saudi financial regulations, including taxes and zakat. Key Responsibilities: Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices and payments. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports. Monitor and report on cash flow and budget performance. Ensure compliance with Saudi tax and zakat regulations; support preparation and submission of returns. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed. Maintain accurate general ledger entries and journal entries. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate financial tracking of inventory and events. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 to 7 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to the Saudi market. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax/zakat regulations in KSA . Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
