Paraprofessional – Full-Time | Flint, MI | 2025–2026 School Year

A fantastic school district located in Flint, MI is seeking a full-time Paraprofessional to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support and services to students, helping to foster academic achievement and personal growth. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the appropriate care and instruction.

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support and services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student development
• Assist in implementing behavior or educational plans as needed
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in meetings and provide insight into student performance and needs
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or college coursework preferred
• Paraprofessional certification or licensure as required by the state of Michigan or district
• Experience working with students in school settings, especially supporting special education populations, preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of educational and behavioral support methodologies applicable to paraprofessional roles
