Job Summary of Fresh Area Team Member:
The position of a Meat/Produce Associate at Walmart involves keeping the Fresh section well-stocked, rotating products, and maintaining food safety standards. In addition to this, the Associate is responsible for transferring newly arrived merchandise to the sales floor and keeping Fresh displays looking their best throughout the day.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Fresh Area Team Member:
Ā Bring the incoming products to the sales area for showcasing and selling.
Ā To preserve the freshness of the exhibits, they need to be adequately organized.
Ā It is advisable to practise product rotation in order to avoid spoilage and ensure quality.
Ā Abide by regulatory food safety requirements to avoid violations and penalties.
Ā Give support with unloading and arranging product in the Fresh section for optimal visibility.
Ā Accept that it is part of your job to complete additional duties as requested by management.
Qualifications and Experience of Fresh Area Team Member:
Ā Previous involvement in a retail or grocery environment is favored.
Ā The Importance of Personal Hygiene in Food Safety.
Ā Competence in picking up and transporting hefty articles.
Ā Exceptionally skilled in being able to focus on even the smallest details, combined with excellent organizational proficiency.
