The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for social first video production, storytelling, and creative problem solving.Location: Various/Flexible
Key Responsibilities:
Capture high-quality video footage of events for EXTREME.Collaborate with the EXTREME Team to understand the video requirements and vision. Plan shots, prepare equipment and liaise with any onsite tech.Edit and produce engaging event videos that follow brand guidelines, tell a compelling story and capture the essence and emotion of the event.
Requirements:
Knowledge of social video formats, trends and best practices is key.Experience in filming live sports events, interviews and conferences.Proven experience in creating high-quality event videos that tell a story and capture emotion. Personal interest in EXTREME Sports.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative environment with the EXTREME team. Ability to deliver on tight deadlines and ensure the highest standards of attention to detail and quality. Owns professional-grade camera equipment, including stabilizers, tripods and microphones. Willingness to travel and sometimes on short notice.Proficient in professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, Final Cut, for video editing, colour grading, and sound editing. (Desired but not essential)
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work as an independent contractor on a project-by-project basis, building their portfolio and honing their craft in event video production. Please submit your resume and work samples for consideration.
