Freelance Content & Copywriter

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States This is a remote position. Millennial Assistants is looking to expand our network of freelance content writers and copywriters! We work with content writers and copywriters of various levels of experience. As a writer with Millennial Assistants, you'll create content for use across various platforms. The goal for all of your content and copy should be to help our small business clients grow their online presence and, ultimately, their company. Who you are: • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and an excitement for making a difference in the world by helping grow small businesses • You have a love for writing, an uncanny ability to match company voice, and an appreciation for feedback from clients and management • You have an understanding of how being an independent contractor works - you are your own business • You're a self-starter who frequently says, "I don't know how to do that, but I'll figure it out!" • You're tech savvy and require minimal oversight • You have an understanding of what goes into each type of content - blogs, web copy, social media, landing pages, etc. - and the ability to utilize that knowledge • You're a grammar enthusiast who is comfortable editing and proofreading your own work and the work of others • You have excellent attention to detail and a desire to produce high-quality work • You can, and have the drive to, research topics before writing about them Responsibilities: • Write clear, attractive content and copy with a distinct, on-brand voice for our clients • Interpret client and manager briefings to understand project requirements • Communicate and collaborate with management and other teams (such as graphics or web designers) to get a better understanding of what the project requires • Edit and proofread copy as needed • Research topics, brand voices, styles, and content-type requirements • Take direction and feedback from managers when given Each writing project with Millennial Assistants is typically paid a set fee that's communicated upfront before you accept the project. The opportunity for hourly work is available occasionally. Types of projects available include general content for sites and landing pages, blogs, sales copy, and social media posts. Contractors with Millennial Assistants are their own boss and business - they set their own hours, accept or decline projects, and can work with their own clients outside of Millennial Assistants. Millennial Assistants makes no guarantee on volume of project availability or amount of money that can be made with us. We are an agency that partners with contractors/freelancers who are notified when work is available.
