The Opportunity: Financial Analyst CoPilot
We're excited to introduce Financial Analyst CoPilot, an AI copilot designed to revolutionize financial analyst workflows at major institutions, including investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds. Our vision is to combine cutting-edge LLM capabilities with real-time data sources to give finance professionals 25%+ of their time back per week - freeing them to focus on high-value tasks. As the Founder-In-Residence, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Financial Analyst CoPilot and driving its growth.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the AI Fund and SALT Fund Leadership Teams to launch and scale new businesses from the ground up
Research and validate problems to solve that can benefit from AI/ML, including idea validation, product validation, market validation, and funding validation
Design a product and prototype it, setting the vision and strategy for the portfolio company once product-market fit is achieved
Capitalizing on the company's potential by standing it up, bringing in top talent, building the product, and securing pilot customers
Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan, leveraging your expertise in financial analysis and AI/ML
Essential Qualifications
Proven leadership experience building and selling enterprise software products to large customers in financial, media, and telecommunications companies
Prior experience at a major financial institution or hedge fund in investment banking, asset management, research, trading, or similar departments
Prior startup founder or experience working at an early-stage hi-tech company, specifically in fintech
Integral part of building technology companies from 0 to 1, with a strategic thinking mindset
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous startup environments, with a competitive, entrepreneurial mindset
Demonstrated experience building products and leading teams, with a track record of success
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience, with the ability to recruit great team members and fundraise
Preferred Qualifications
VP/Associate/Analyst experience at a major financial institution
Retail or institutional trading experience
Ability to attract talent and build strong teams
Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience
