Your Impact in This Role As a Forklift Operator , your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Complete training including SMI safety standards and driving demonstration. Operate and inspect forklift daily; report maintenance needs. Safely fuel, clean (radiator/air filters), and maintain forklift. Load/unload trucks and move materials to designated areas. Track material load counts and identify cross-contamination risks. Assist with plant maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping. Report incidents, environmental hazards, and participate in safety investigations. Wear required PPE and follow all safety and operational procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
