All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: Full Time 40 Hours per week Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, 100% RemoteShift: DaysThe community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth:• Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando• We offer great benefits with immediate Health Insurance coverage• Career growth and advancement potential• Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America• AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the countryJob Summary:Participates in the quality care of our patients by providing medical dosimetry services meeting or exceeding any national standards of care in radiation oncology.Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.You Will Be Responsible For:Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth’s core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork.• Discusses patient diagnosis with physicians.• Assist in simulation process, including collection of pertinent data required for treatment planning.• Accurately transpose patient data into treatment planning system.• Accurately and proficiently performs dosimetric calculations for external beam treatment plans.• Accurately and proficiently performs dosimetric calculations for IMRT treatment plans.• Accurately and proficiently performs dosimetric calculations for brachytherapy plans.QualificationsWhat You Will Need: Required:• Minimum of B.S.or B.A. degree in Physics or related field, OR Radiation Therapy Technology certification (no expiration)• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)• Strong knowledge of medical dosimetry• Effective communication skillsPreferred:• Five years of clinical medical dosimetry experience• Knowledge of computers and networking Apply tot his job
