Care is mostly for the infant, but oldest daughter will be home when not at preschool. Mom values compassion, patience, and great communication skills. Both parents WFH but stay in office.
Schedule
• Monday through Friday
• Flexibility in hours: 9am-2pm, 10am-3pm, 8am-1pm, etc.
What to Expect
A typical day with this family will include care of their infant daughter and preparing developmentally appropriate activities to do with her. When big sister is home, you'll sing, dance, and encourage her to try new foods. Mom describes the baby as a "dream" with a happy and calm personality. This is a mixed cultural family with mom being Ukrainian and dad being Korean; mom would love a nanny with one of these backgrounds because they don't see much diversity in their neighborhood, but this is not required.
Requirements, per family request
Nanny must:
• Value healthy habits: Washing hands, use sanitizer, etc.
• Have relevant experience with children and be comfortable with parents working from home
• Have a safe, reliable car and valid driver’s license
• Candidates vaccinated for COVID-19 preferred, but not required
Salary
• This position is hourly and pays between $17-$19/hr, pre-tax, based on experience
