Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Content Distribution Engineer to join our Media Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Content Distribution Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building the infrastructure that powers our media, advertising, and distribution businesses. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our content delivery networks (CDNs), ensuring that our content is delivered quickly and efficiently to our audiences around the world. Key Responsibilities Design and manage CDN configurations in the arenaflex Distribution Grid Effectively manage OpenCache relationships with ISPs globally Collaborate with operations and performance management teams to review performance metrics and identify areas for improvement Manage day-to-day operations of the arenaflex Distribution Grid Participate in tooling development to integrate third-party CDNs into a unified control plane Serve as the operational management contact for CDN support, effectively managing incidents via communication with CDN support teams Collaborate with our operations and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve caching issues Provide level 3 support for any emergency assessment, escalation, and support Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background and experience in managing content delivery networks. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in managing caching solutions, preferably in a content distribution organization. Essential Skills and Competencies Experience in Content Distribution Network operations conditions Knowledge of CDN vendor structures and configurations Ability to perform network troubleshooting Knowledge of the following: HTTP/DNS/Web Architecture Caching (Cache) Web Serving (NGINX, HAProxy) Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP) Scripting Languages (Python, etc.) Security Protocols (SSL Certificates, TLS) Configuration Management (Ansible, AWX) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Passion for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
