The Field Service Engineer II will support customer needs by providing installation, maintenance, and repair services on various instruments, ensuring patient health and well-being.ResponsibilitiesProvide installation support, maintenance, modification and/or repair on 1-2 groups of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic and/or refrigeration instrumentsDocument and complete service administration activities in a timely manner to follow ISO, FDA, and Leica policiesActively support the sale of service contracts, assist sales representatives & service team members with system configurations/upgrades, and provide feedback on ways to improve financial performance to generate service revenueSkillsAssociate's degree with 3+ years of field service experience or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Science with 1+ year of experience or related field OR equivalent military experience (working on any mechanical, technical, laboratory, pneumatic or any related instruments.)This position requires up to 90% flying and/or driving travel, which includes overnight stays.
