Family Health Nurse - Virtual Team Opportunity in North Yorkshire

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Family Health Nurse to join our 0-6 Service, delivering high-quality universal and targeted health visiting and school health services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical, emotional, and social development of children, working in partnership with parents, carers, and other agencies to drive positive health outcomes.
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract position, offering a competitive salary of £29,970 to £36,483 per annum (pro rata) and comprehensive benefits. Although the role is part of our Virtual Team, please note that it is not a remote working position, and you will be required to travel within North Yorkshire for face-to-face training, meetings, and to support our locality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver the national and Public Health agendas in response to identified health and social needs, working in partnership with other agencies and meeting agreed standards, objectives, and statutory requirements.
Contribute to the delivery of the Healthy Child programme, undertaking mandated contacts and targeted interventions, and coordinating care for children, young people, and families.
Support the completion of comprehensive health needs assessments, facilitating the mobilization of resources to meet identified needs and ensuring inter-agency/professional partnership working.
Utilize excellent communication skills, passion for public health, and good organizational skills to drive success in this role.
