Organize, prepare, and regularly revise and update all course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Utilize appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions, to prepare and deliver courses.
Model effective oral and written communications that engage students, provide clarity, and improve student learning outcomes.
Set clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives, assignment/examination dates, and weight distribution of various evaluation categories.
Ensure that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives, and demonstrate consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams.
Provide timely feedback to students and complete other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a master's degree in a relevant field (with 18 graduate hours in the subject being taught for undergraduate teaching). Additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply. You must also have:
Requisite subject matter expertise in Web Graphic Design and digital media education.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in a diverse and non-traditional environment.
