About the Role The Technology Sourcing and Contract Management Leader will play a vital role in driving the future of technology at arenaflex. This position will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers, utilizing tools to manage suppliers, and providing guidance and support to colleagues. Key Responsibilities Model the arenaflex way by guiding and leading colleagues using ability management practices to mentor, develop, and engage employees Embody organization values and capabilities to encourage a culture of inclusion, recognition, and support of a safe workplace Invest in leadership and self-development through participating in continuous learning and improvement Build a skilled, useful, informed, powerful, and customer support-oriented team by recruiting and hiring qualified candidates, providing training and direction on departmental policies and procedures, assigning work responsibilities and needs, leading work activities, and assessing the performance of the team Collaborate with senior leadership across arenaflex to develop sourcing strategies in support of their business objectives Assist in building key sourcing skills through training with cross-functional teams and through training on new methodologies Prompt innovation and partners on common risk components of a supplier agreement as well as program or project Demonstrate an understanding of technology philosophies and concepts such as SAAS, Agile development, DevOps, and more Show an understanding of technology contract-specific concerns like IP ownership, SLAs, cybersecurity, and data security Develop, monitor, and review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and company norms and policies Foster expertise in advanced sourcing techniques, including but not limited to: Strategic Sourcing, Cost Efficiencies, Global Sourcing, Value Engineering, TCO, and Supplier Development within the team Demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity in all transactions May perform other work duties as directed by supervisor's leaders Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field Knowledge of the technology market, suppliers, and industry trends Highly skilled in considering the relative costs and benefits of proposed actions to pick the most appropriate one Talented in working with legal, insurance, tax, and other relevant departments to ensure that their requirements are captured in policies Ability to create and execute team objectives, direct team building activities, mentor and coach others, and provide timely and effective feedback on performance and career direction Ability to provide input to and assist with budget development and ensure effective utilization of financial resources Ability to provide guidance and direction around daily activities related to strategic sourcing, contract drafting, negotiation, procurement, and payment Ability to track and analyze team's performance by monitoring key productivity measurements Ability to unite others to accommodate differences Ability to connect pieces of information to form overall guidelines or decisions (includes finding a relationship among apparently unrelated events) Ability to move to and fro between at least two activities or sources of information (such as speech, sounds, touch, or other sources) Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a related field Professional certifications in sourcing, contract management, or a related field Experience working in a technology sourcing and contract management role Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
