About the Role As a Sensing Technology Engineer at Apple, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and launching next-generation sensing technologies. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to life, enabling them to interact with users and the environment in new and exciting ways. If you're passionate about analog circuit design, have experience with board-level layout, and are a driven team player, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and validate system-level prototypes, integrating sensors and systems to deliver innovative sensing solutions. Conduct failure mode analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system-level troubleshooting, utilizing analog circuit simulations and data analysis. Create schematic designs for boards and flexible assemblies, as well as future generation scoping and proof-of-concept investigations. Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, and System Engineering, to deliver effective sensing solutions. Present to executive management on key features and issues, contributing technical expertise to strategic decision-making regarding technology and investments. Manage multi-functional technical development of sensors, ensuring timely and effective delivery of projects. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience. A strong background in analog and mixed-signal system-level circuit design. Proficiency in MATLAB, SPICE, or similar simulation and modeling tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong leadership and management competencies. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Experience with sensor and systems integration. Knowledge of Apple's products and ecosystem. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
