Job Summary As a Senior Data Analyst and ETL Developer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure that enables report automation for the blithequark Healthcare Quality Improvement program. You will work closely with data investigators, BI engineers, system administrators, and data consumers to deliver performance insights across blithequark Health. This is a part-time, remote career opportunity that offers a competitive hourly rate of $32/hour. Key Responsibilities Oversees the delivery of blithequark Health data and insights drives and projects, supporting long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing activities to meet blithequark Health reporting and analysis expectations. Designs, develops, and delivers layered databases and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis projects. Creates data preparation and pre-processing standards for populating consistent and accurate data models attached to report-specific working tables for both project business intelligence and pre-defined reporting solutions. Applies data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large datasets from various internal blithequark production system sources and third-party records. Performs data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare datasets (e.g., member eligibility, clinical claims, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS records). Develops internal tools for automation of all improvement-related activities (data processing, QA, data validation, etc.). Essential Qualifications Proven, hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts. Experience designing and delivering reasonably isolated data environments using ETL/ELT services that include but are not limited to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake. Experience providing thought leadership and presenting tool rationalist semantic data layer enhancements related to BI technology platforms like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker. Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical teams, internal stakeholders, clients, and vendor partners. At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace. At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team management. Able to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts.
