As a Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our client's brand, providing critical support and sales services to their customers. This role is not just about handling customer inquiries; it's about building relationships, resolving issues, and offering solutions that enhance our clients' services. Key Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls with professionalism and poise, addressing a range of inquiries from power outage issues to payment arrangements and service activations/deactivations. Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities by offering additional products and services, such as surge protection programs, home wiring services, and water heater repair plans, to customers. Utilize our technology platforms to manage customer interactions, update account information, and track sales and customer service metrics. Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing customer needs, product offerings, and company initiatives. Meet and exceed sales and customer service targets, contributing to the overall success of our team. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on our client's services and promotions to effectively communicate value to customers. Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you must have: A minimum of one year of recent experience in inbound customer service, preferably in a similar industry or with a sales component. Proven track record of upselling or cross-selling products or services, with the ability to articulate your sales strategies and achievements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional tone and demeanor. Technical savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software applications while maintaining a high level of customer engagement. Strong time management and organizational skills, capable of working independently in a remote setting while meeting productivity and quality standards. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all customer interactions and data entry. The ability to pass a background check and drug test. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, having experience in the energy or utility sector, or with similar BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environments, can be a significant plus. Additionally, candidates who have worked in a remote or work-from-home setting before and have demonstrated success in managing their time and productivity will be highly considered.
