Job Summary Under minimal supervision, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications for enhancements and new products. You will be responsible for concept design through the entire development life cycle, preparing and conducting system programming tests, and coaching others in less senior positions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software applications for enhancements and new products Responsible for concept design through the entire development life cycle Prepare and conduct system programming tests requiring interfacing and software assessments Coach others in less senior positions File various software applications with flowcharts, visualizations, and diagrams to ensure all users have a full understanding via the development cycle Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Engineering, or Information Systems or a related area, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience Three to four years of qualifying work experience in data generation or an engineering environment A related advanced degree may also offset the experience requirements Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud systems like AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with source control tools like Git, as well as expertise using ADO Backend engineers: experience with development using Java or Springboot Frontend engineers: experience with development using React JS or Angular JS Backend engineers: ability to write interfaces including API JSON or Soap and webservices Comfort with database principles and experience writing SQL in a relational database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL At ease working with goal-oriented teams in an Agile environment and working with user stories and recognition standards Willingness to analyze and learn new technologies, large technology stack, and figure out solutions, by using deeper studies and troubleshooting Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes Strong time management and prioritization skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
