As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule, with a minimum requirement of 30 hours per week. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling customer inquiries, and providing support via phone, chat, or other channels.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate a sincere desire for a quality customer experience and promote a positive work environment
Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to display empathy with customers over the phone
Utilize computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of relevant operating systems and software environments
Troubleshoot software issues and modify communication styles to meet customer needs and tone
Simplify and communicate complex ideas to customers and diffuse situations with angry customers
Stay up-to-date on changes to the product and tax season to provide knowledgeable support to customers
Step in as needed, including answering questions from customers via chat


Essential Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent
Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferred)
Experience providing support in a call center environment (preferred)
