Job Overview The Quality Control Standards Data Analyst will assist in utilizing data to create, present, and make recommendations for novel ideas and initiatives, as well as perform root cause analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to drive a culture of security, effectiveness, and development. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements. Assist in creating and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. Assist in analyzing ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging support issues and provide insightful responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility. Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to support the relevant aspects of the analysis and facilitate stakeholder understanding. Assist in creating and distributing specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements. Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team. Assess the effectiveness of processes and techniques by monitoring for trends and errors. Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision. May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will possess: A strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, understand, and convey ideas in writing, verbally, or through presentations to groups of varying audiences. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office, with knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, being highly desirable. The ability to assess business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify problems, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. Experience working in a team-oriented environment, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework experience. Experience working in a related field, with a strong understanding of quality control principles and practices. Ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications.
