Key Responsibilities As a Remote Chat Agent, your primary responsibilities will include: Responding to Inbound Chat/Text Messages: Engage with customers in a timely and professional manner, providing thoughtful and grammatically correct responses to their inquiries. Conversation Engagement: Respond to conversations within 1 minute of receipt, ensuring that customers receive prompt attention and support. System Error Reporting: Identify and report system errors or anomalies, helping us to continuously improve our processes and technology. Conversation Volume: Work a set minimum number of conversations per hour, ensuring that we meet our customer engagement goals. Performance Metrics: Maintain an ERA (Error Rate Average) of 10% or lower, with opportunities for coaching and development if needed. Software Platform Management: Operate within multiple software platforms, demonstrating your technical skills and adaptability. Education & Skills Required To be successful as a Remote Chat Agent, you will need: Automotive Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the automobile industry, including makes and models of vehicles. High-Speed Internet Access: Reliable high-speed internet access to perform your job duties. High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise responses. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using multiple software platforms and technology tools. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field. Automotive Industry Experience: Direct experience working in the automotive industry, either in sales, customer service, or a related role. Work Schedule As a Remote Chat Agent, you will work a set schedule, which may be subject to change based on department needs. Our current schedules include: Schedule Option 1: Wednesday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), Thursday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), Friday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), Saturday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), and Sunday (OFF). Schedule Option 2: Monday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Tuesday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Wednesday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Saturday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), and Sunday (OFF).
