Job Overview and Responsibilities The Reconditioning Technician II will be responsible for preparing and installing cold drink equipment, including inspection, setup, and testing of equipment to ensure that it meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Some of the key responsibilities of the Reconditioning Technician II include: Preparing equipment for installation following established procedures, including inspection, setup of electrical systems, lower cabinet, upper cabinet, and inner door Conducting final inspections to ensure that equipment is properly prepared and meets customer specifications, including customized graphics, flavor, and package configurations Performing thorough cleaning, replacing or repairing parts as necessary, and installing ancillary items such as LED kits, doors, shelves, and front grills Maintaining safe, clean, and neat work areas, and following procedures for maintaining proper accountability of all parts and labor Capturing data, including equipment attribute changes, in a mobile data device and updating CONA and SAP to ensure accurate inventory Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, the Reconditioning Technician II will require: A high school diploma or equivalent Basic technical, electrical, and troubleshooting knowledge and mechanical skills Ability to work with minimal supervision and in various positions, such as squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, and standing on a concrete floor Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move objects of 100 lbs or more Excellent planning and organizational skills Desired soft drink industry knowledge and equipment services experience Desired SAP and Hipot knowledge Experience with tools used, including plasma cutters, hand and air tools, and hand-held devices Preferred Qualifications and Career Growth Opportunities While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience Prior experience with painting using an air gun and requires a fit test (Technician III) Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines We offer a range of career growth opportunities, including training and development programs, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement.
