Event Coordinator

The Event Coordinator will support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts by planning, executing, and managing firm events and sponsorships. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external firm events, including seminars, client appreciation events, webinars, conferences, and community activities Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, invitations, registration, and day-of-event coordination Oversee the firm’s sponsorship commitments, ensuring timely deliverables, visibility, and brand consistency Assist with the design and production of event-related collateral (digital invitations, signage, brochures, social media graphics, etc.) Track RSVP lists, manage event registration platforms, and coordinate follow-up outreach Maintain the firm’s calendar of marketing and sponsorship commitments Work with the Marketing & Business Development team to promote events through digital channels and internal communications Maintain the firm’s contact lists and event management systems Work with the marketing and business development team to evaluate event performance and recommend improvements for future initiatives Skills 1–3 years of event planning experience, preferably in a professional services environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Comfort working under deadlines and in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred Experience using event RSVP, CRM and other platforms preferred Benefits Discretionary bonus Health insurance with an optional HSA Dental insurance Vision care Life insurance Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts 401K Vacation Sick time Employee assistance program Company Overview Cox, Castle & Nicholson is a law firm that specializes in acquisitions, joint ventures, and disposition matters.It was founded in 1968, and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
