As an Analyst II, Quality Engineer, you will have a direct impact on Walmart's operations and contribute to the company's mission of continuous innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead root cause analysis to improve processes in a logical manner, driving data-driven decision-making. Extract data and transform it into functional tools to provide key metrics for managing progress and optimizing business outcomes. Build strong relationships with operations teams to identify top losses and recognize causes, driving collaborative problem-solving. Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery and implementation. Work closely with project administrators for newly deployed tools, ensuring seamless integration and adoption. Demonstrate effective leadership skills, driving team success and fostering a culture of innovation. Develop and propose "blue sky" ideas, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and creativity. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong foundation in analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with process mapping, preferably using tools like Interaction Stream Charts. SQL experience, with the ability to provide audit trails of processes and suggest system improvements. A capable understanding of BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, Informix, and Microsoft PowerApps, with experience in one or more of these technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive team success and foster collaboration. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous experience in a quality engineering or analytical role, preferably in a supply chain or manufacturing environment. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, driving business insights and decision-making. A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
