Experienced Product Operations Specialist – Land Seller Item Management and Customer Support Expertise

In this role, you will be responsible for managing our land seller items, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to our customers, and providing top-notch customer support. Job Overview The Product Operations Specialist will be responsible for executing and maintaining blithequark's land seller items, including setup, pricing, and inventory management. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including our Item Development team, to ensure that our land seller items meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain land seller profiles in our visit management system, including merchant agreement data, parent/chain relationships, and inventory allocations, where applicable. Set up and maintain all pricing and selling rules for all direct land merchants. Set up design and rules for all electronically connected sellers. Manage the land item workflow for new destinations. Monitor land item competitive landscape and suggest and set up margin strategies where appropriate. Participate in the investigation of visit management system technology issues and third-party technology integrations (e.g., IBS and HotelBeds); serve as a contact with third-party suppliers where suitable. Provide pricing and objective data to marketing materials. Collaborate with the Item Development team on individual seller issues requiring clarification and/or resolution, as well as assistance with hotel oversell situations. Assist other blithequark departments with questions or issues related to destinations and land item offerings. Provide and assist blithequark offices with customer resolution for land items on a case-by-case basis. Collaborate with Item Development to create and meet annual open-for-sale (OFS) timeline. Assist Item Activities Coordinator with hotel inventory management, land reporting, and other tasks as needed. Assist with crisis management for catastrophic events and emergency situations. Establish and foster partnering relationships with peers at all levels. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with creative solutions. Meticulous and highly organized. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Self-motivated. Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to present to senior management. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of travel or hospitality experience. Knowledge of blithequark programs, policies, and procedures.
