About the Role: Pharmacy Billing Representative We're seeking an experienced Pharmacy Billing Representative to join our team in a remote/hybrid role, with a required commute to our Monroeville, PA office within 1 hour. As a Pharmacy Billing Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring compliant, timely, and accurate billing practices, working closely with various stakeholders, including pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, third-party payers, patients, and claim processors. Key Responsibilities: Qualify, prepare, and submit claims to Copay Assistance programs, ensuring accurate and efficient processing. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve claims issues, verify insurance, and obtain authorizations. Manage and resolve claims through to resolution, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Support revenue cycle management, compliance, and documentation efforts, ensuring accurate billing and efficient revenue flow. Work within multiple operating systems and web-based programs to retrieve document images and collect supporting information. Essential Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing, or a related field. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to live within a 1-hour commute of the Monroeville, PA office. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to prioritize daily tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare reimbursement systems. Experience with problem-solving and decision-making. Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification preferred.
