About the Role This part-time customer support position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and are looking for a flexible schedule. As a Customer Support Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your problem-solving skills and technical expertise to resolve issues and exceed member expectations. Key Responsibilities Respond to a high volume of incoming calls and member-initiated chats, providing timely and effective support Determine member needs and provide suitable solutions, including answering general product questions and resolving complex issues related to online orders, tracking, and deliveries Process and offer refunds or other forms of compensation as needed, ensuring a positive member experience Act as a liaison between blithequark.com clients, merchants, buying, and operations staff, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution Utilize multiple computer programs simultaneously on different screens while on the telephone or responding to chats, demonstrating technical proficiency and multitasking abilities Apply critical thinking and decision-making skills to resolve order, item, or delivery issues, ensuring prompt and effective solutions Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) E-commerce Customer Service Specialist Certification (or willingness to complete the 14-day training program) Previous customer support experience (preferred) Proficiency in customer service, computer literacy, professional business writing, and typing (minimum 30 wpm) Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and split days off Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you will ideally possess: A strong background in customer support, with excellent interpersonal skills, prompt and friendly service, and attention to detail The ability to adapt and function well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to take ownership and drive issues to resolution Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Bilingual capabilities (or more) What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to supporting our employees' growth and well-being.
