Job Overview As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy operations, working collaboratively with our team to ensure the swift and accurate entry of prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Your strong communication skills will be essential in providing courteous and timely responses to customer inquiries over the phone. Under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist and in compliance with State law, you will be responsible for a range of duties that require attention to detail, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge. Key Responsibilities Efficient and accurate entry of prescriptions into the pharmacy system, ensuring timely processing and minimizing delays. Troubleshooting prescription and patient data entry discrepancies, utilizing strong analytical skills to resolve issues promptly. Ensuring accurate and timely input of prescription and patient information, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity. Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet departmental goals, contributing to the continuous improvement of our pharmacy operations. Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following essential qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in basic education. Current national/state pharmacy certification and State Board of Pharmacy registration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in using pharmacy software systems and technology. Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge, enabling accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions. Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations, to ensure precision in data entry and troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a long-term care pharmacy, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this setting. Previous experience with Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system, or similar software, enabling a smoother transition into our operations. Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including order entry, dispensing, and inventory management, contributing to the overall efficiency of our team.
