As a key member of our Technology team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our cloud-based solutions. We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team, working closely with our VP of Cloud Solutions Engineering to lead the migration of applications and services to private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. Job Responsibilities Lead and provide solutions that focus on software eligibility criteria, platform intake efficiencies, and workload placements, balancing speed and time-to-market with regards to Cloud systems (On-prem and public cloud), products, and services. Lead the definition, execution, and renovation of enterprise-level cloud migration strategies, approaches, tools, and architectural design reviews within CE and collaborating with associate groups. Be a thought leader in bringing disruptive approaches of migration through powerful long-term methods for applications of public cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure). Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Product groups and other technology groups. Build POCs to test with new technology, databases, and other software infrastructure to ensure we deliver green and secure solutions for migration. Continuously pursue and explore enterprise-leading/progressive technology and solutions. Be aware of enabling technology and open-source products to guide low-latency distributed systems. Ensuring the outwardly inward perspective brings innovative solutions. Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Operations, Product, and Platform groups in implementing and marketing private and hybrid cloud initiatives. 50%~60% of the time spent on coding and/or hands-on technical implementation and/or reviewing the code/designed solutions. Work with Enterprise Architecture, Staff Engineers, and Delivery groups to outline solution requirements and technical implementation techniques, also collaborating through MIM bridges to provide fixes and evaluation at the short/long time implication from time to time. Provide technical mentorship to other software engineers at all levels. Implement new, surprisingly scalable platform components while working on the existing opportunities associated with core platform components. Minimum Qualifications Understanding of Cloud Native Principles and architectures and Experience in developing platform-level cloud native machine structure with low latency, high throughput, and high availability. Knowledge and experience in building complex solutions and growing cloud native architectures on Private (Red Hat OpenShift) and Public Cloud (AWS /GCP/Azure) and modernizing large and complex technology solutions to cloud environments. Experience in designing and building Cloud native applications. Experience in cloud systems like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is a plus. Experience in the use of NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems including Redis, Kafka, Couchbase, and Cassandra within the context of low latency and high transaction volume systems. Keen awareness of issues in vastly distributed systems and powerful solutions. Experience with software design, software development, and automated testing. Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, and various databases (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra, Couchbase, and Mongo). Experience with Application Performance Management tools (Splunk, App Dynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace, etc.). Experience in building distributed micro-service systems, experience with Service Mesh products/frameworks like Envoy, Istio, gRPC/protobuf; Distributed System Management/tracing and tracking including Zipkin/Jaeger, ELK Stack, Prometheus. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) tools and processes (Example: Jenkins, Ansible, etc.). Experience in data consumers' requirements and provide solutions to achieve their business outcomes. Proven engineering transport experience working with global teams. Ability to research and deep dive into new technology and business domains, question the status quo, and assume outside of the box. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Create and deliver powerful presentations to Senior Leadership. Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
