We are now seeking an experienced Mental Health Outpatient Therapist to join our team in Belvidere, IL, for a remote position. About the Role As a Mental Health Outpatient Therapist at Rosecrance, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health rehabilitation services and supporting children, adolescents, and families to achieve rehabilitative, resiliency, and recovery goals. You will be an integral part of our team, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional care and services to our clients. Key Responsibilities Provide mental health rehabilitation services to children, adolescents, and families, focusing on decreasing hospitalization and crisis episodes and increasing community functioning. Participate as a team member in the delivery of mental health services, facilitating the issues of recovery into daily living situations. Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members. Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients, ensuring that client service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations. Maintain effective communication with all staff, including admissions, process, and discharge plans. Coordinate services from a variety of community resources, utilizing a range of treatment concepts, evidence-based practices, and service modalities. Present workshops, lectures, and training to clients, families, staff, and community groups as needed. Be available to make court appearances on behalf of Rosecrance clients. Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Ethics and within the framework of the law. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer, serving as a role model and demonstrating positive guest relations. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A Master's degree in human services or a related field. Full licensure (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT). A valid driver's license. Demonstrated education, training, or experience in mental health services. Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within prescribed time frames. Excellent organizational and computer skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in conducting individual, family, and group counseling, as well as case management. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and service modalities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to adapt verbal and written communication to the language and style of clients and their families.
